Cooker repair in Tirana

We repair a gas or electric cooker in your kitchen, in Tirana. Edison separates a hob fault from an oven fault. A zone that will not heat is not the same job as an oven that does not reach temperature. If you smell gas, close the tap before we come.

What is going wrong

The electric hob does not heat

The heating part of that zone, or the switch that controls it, may have failed. On a ceramic hob, sometimes only one zone works. If only one zone is dead, it is usually not the whole cooker.

The oven does not heat, or only heats a little

The element at the top or the bottom, the thermostat, or the sensor. The oven light can come on even when no heat comes. The oven should warm the whole space, not one spot only.

Only one zone works

We start from that zone, not from the supply cable. On gas we check the cap, the injector, and the igniter. On electric, the element or the switch for that zone.

The gas will not light, or the flame goes out

If you hear a click but there is no flame, the spark or the gas is missing. If the flame lights and goes out as soon as you let go of the knob, it is the safety sensor. We do not leave the knob held down as the fix.

A smell of gas

Do not test this with a match. Shut the gas off at the cylinder or at the wall tap, open the windows, and do not switch any lights on. Call us. At your home we check the connections. If there is a leak, the cooker is not left in use.

The igniter clicks without stopping

Damp on the igniters, or a cap put back the wrong way after cleaning. You hear a tick-tick, and the flame often returns once it has dried. That is a different fault from gas that is not coming through at all.

The oven gets too hot and will not stop

The thermostat has stuck. That is a risk to the food and to the oven. Do not use it until it has been replaced.

The oven door glass has cracked

We replace the glass when we have the exact size. Send a photo and the model. It is not the same job as an oven that will not heat.
