Washing machine repair in Tirana

The small strainer on the inlet hose fills with sand and limescale. Sometimes the wall tap is closed, or the valve that lets the water in does not open. That is different from a machine that fills but does not wash well.

The pump filter blocks with hair, bits of clothing, or coins. The machine may fill, but it does not reach the spin. If there is water inside, do not force the door open. The water comes out onto the floor.

The door seal has split, the pump has cracked, or the water hose has come loose. In a block of flats this is not a little damp. Stop the programme and close the wall tap before we come.

If the drum moves from side to side when you rock it by hand, the bearings are worn. If the drum hits the cabinet, the shock absorbers have broken. When the belt has snapped, the drum stays still and you hear only the motor.

The door may not have closed properly, the belt has come off, or the motor does not run. Here the drum is dry, but it does not move. That is a different fault from water that will not drain.

The heating element has burnt out, or the temperature sensor is not working. The machine washes in cold water and the clothes come out greasy. In Tirana, limescale shortens the life of the element. If the scale is not cleaned off, a new part wears out the same way.

Water sits in the folds of the seal. Sometimes a clean is enough, with the door left ajar after each wash. If the seal is torn, we replace it. We look before we order the part.
